IF3 Release 3.43 squashes a bunch of bugs and has several feature enhancements.
In a nutshell we’ve created a new de-duplication capability for manual entry of Opportunities and we have fine tuned the Offer process.
IF3 Release 3.43 Enhancements
De-Duplication System for Manual Opportunities
We are introducing a de-dupe process when creating Opportunities manually which will prevent duplicates. This process uses the address to find any existing opportunity in the database and alerts you if a match is found.
Adjustments are coming to the Offer process. First off, the banners will now display the name of the person who made the offer instead of showing their email address. Slight changes were also made in the Offers tab to remove the icons for printing, saving, or sharing if it’s a Verbal Offer. The logic of the Offer process was fine-tuned to improve user experience, making your selections when updating an Offer action make more sense.
New Opportunity Assignee
When creating an Opportunity manually, you could select the option “Use Opportunity Owner” when assigning the next action. This didn’t really make any sense in the process so we removed the option to do so. You will have to select the specific team member when assigning the action!
Opportunity Detail Page
We changed the Opportunity Owner field to display the first and last name for readability at a quick glance. In the “Next Action” bar, the name will now be displayed instead of the email address.
Opportunity Owner in List View
You can now see the assigned Owner when looking at the Opportunity from the list view.
IF3 Release 3.43 Bug Fixes
We received reports of notes entered that were not saved in the system. We were able to find a pattern of the issue thanks to user reports and videos and as a result, we determined the cause and released a hot-fix last week.
Sequence Next Action
There was an issue where if you assign the next Action of a Sequence to something other than “follow up with seller”, it would not save. This issue has been fixed in IF3 Release 3.43!
We found that changing the status of an Opportunity from the list view does not get recorded in the activity log. That is addressed in this release!
The last fix for this release is for an issue in the Team Assignment settings. If there were different assignee’s for the Opportunity Owner and Call New Lead action, the action would be assigned to the Opportunity Owner. This came up after last week’s update but is now rectified!
